IHF.OR.ID, Batam – Deputy Governor of Riau Islands, who is also the Mother (Ambassador) of Early Childhood Education in Batam City, Marlin Agustina Rudi directly opened the Assessment and Assessment activities as well as Character-Based Holistic Education activities at Harmonie One Hotel Batam Center.
Marlin said Early Childhood teachers have an essential role in shaping children’s character from an early age. Therefore, the Assessment and evaluation are expected to add new insights and knowledge to Early Childhood teachers in Batam City.
“Hopefully, Early Childhood teachers can continue to be great teachers, can shape character education for children,” Marlin said Thursday, February 16, 2023, reported by kabarbatam.com.
On that occasion, he also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Batam City Government (because) the Education Office has carried out this Assessment and Evaluation.
According to him, the Batam City Government has also been committed to budgeting for similar activities that can add insight to Early Childhood teachers. Even when Covid-19 hit, the budget for Early childhood teachers was still allocated.
“Thank you for the Education Office and the Mayor (Muhammad Rudi),” she said.
Marlin, Mother of Early Childhood and Literacy, stated that her team had compiled many programs to support children’s character building.
“So, we have arranged many programs for our children,” she said.
Also attending the event were the Regional Secretary of Batam City, Jefridin Hamid, the Head of the Batam City Education Office, Hendri Arulan, and several other Batam City OPD leaders.
