IHF.OR.ID, BOGOR – Seventh-grade students of SMP Karakter (School of Character) once again held their annual educational exhibition, the Museum of Character Schools (MOSKA), in Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency. This year, MOSKA chose the theme “Beyond the Blue: Dive into the Future.”
The five-day event, held from February 3 to 7, 2026, aims to introduce the richness of the marine ecosystem. In addition, the exhibition, now in its eighth year, also seeks to raise environmental awareness among the younger generation through an interactive museum approach.
The organizing committee explained that this year’s theme was chosen to encourage visitors to see the ocean from various perspectives. Beyond biodiversity, the exhibition also highlights the local wisdom of coastal communities and Indonesia’s maritime culture.
“This theme invites us to go beyond visible boundaries, dive deeper to discover new things, and enter the future with courage, innovation, and a spirit of exploration,” wrote the committee.
One of this year’s main attractions is the use of virtual reality (VR) technology for visitors aged 5th grade to adults. This facility allows visitors to experience the sensation of being underwater digitally and reinforces the message of exploration and innovation.

In addition to the exhibition, MOSKA 2026 also features a series of age-appropriate physical activities. For example, a fish scooping activity for kindergarten through second grade and a plaster coloring activity for third graders and the general public.
The committee set a fee of Rp 30,000 per person to ensure the event runs smoothly and provide an inclusive educational experience. Each visitor received a souvenir as a token of appreciation for their visit.
This year’s MOSKA event collaborated with a number of partners to support the activities, namely Koding Next, Dampu, Ruang Inspirasi Naria, Mulya Catering, and AIU Craft Project. Through this major project, students not only learn academic material, but also hone their event management skills, creativity, and empathy towards global issues such as marine ecosystem conservation.
